I have recieved my phone from EE today. google pixel 9a. but there is no e sim

i followed the steps listed in this forum and watch the video. i have kept my old number so i know the number of the e sim but it wont let me link it to my ee account. it also does not have an option for me to download it. i do not see any QR code in any of the packaging either

so i solved this by myself, i called up the number in my package that said ''if anything is missing call this number''. the guy on the phone said that i didnt capitalise my name correctly and so the sim didnt work. it didnt transfer my number either for some reason so he sorted out the name problem and i have been able to download my e sim. then on friday my changed number will take effect probably requiring me to download it as a new esim.
