Ending contract and PAC confusion

My and my husbands contract with EE ends tomorrow (6th July). We had already decided to go with the BT family sim deal as my son, who is on a PAYG EE sim now needs data and EE couldn't match the deal for the 4 of us all together. My daughter was already on BT. She has received a text saying her contract changes tomorrow (which is correct).

We have both received texts from EE after asking for the PAC code saying we will be due £1.66 and 62P respectively (even though we haven't activated the PAC yet.

Our BT sims are due to arrive tomorrow (later than anticipated). I have 2 issues here - does this mean if the PAC code isn't used by tomorrow that EE will just bill for another whole month from tomorrow? If they don't, does that mean that we essentially will have no mobile for several days until our sims arrive and the number switch is complete? Does anyone know?

Hi @susiejs

Thanks for coming here 🙂

Did you provide the PAC to BT for the numbers to transfer when the SIM cards arrived?

How did you place the order?

Leanne 🙂

The Sim cards haven't arrived yet. They aren't going to arrive till tomorrow at the earliest, so no we haven't used the PAC codes yet. We placed the order by phone call.

Thanks @susiejs

I would suggest giving us a call on 150, as the text you have received suggests you have a date for the transfer. They will be able to check this and answer any questions you may have 🙂

Leanne.
