ESIM activation

Hi,

I was having issues with my physical SIM card so I decided to download an ESIM. I believe I have done this correctly but not I my signal is not working and I cannot make phone calls unless they are emergency ones.  I have a message on my phone saying "SIM not provisioned for voice". How can I fix this?

Hi @Pajesus,

You should be all set and ready to go. Please allow up to 24 hours for your new SIM to register on the network, although it's usually much quicker.

@Pajesus    Did you receive the confirmation text ?  This would have been sent to your number that was still at this point on your SIM card ?  You have to receive that in order for EE to verify it’s you  who is requesting the transfer to the eSim.      If you’re got SIM card problems you might not even get that text. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi,

I received a text saying that I have requested a replacement ESIM but there is nothing on the message to verify myself for the the ESIM. Should I be waiting for another text? The old physical SIM card is hit and miss whether it works. I have managed to get it working but ideally want to switch to ESIM. Do I need to take the old SIM out?

Have you tried completing your SIM swap at Activate your SIM (ee.co.uk)?

I have done this, this allowed for me to download the SIM through the app which I have also done. What am I supposed to do after this?
