Hi. I made a mistake where I deleted my esim after transfering the phone number from my old phone. I ordered a new SIM but I now have no way to activate it since my data is on the deleted SIM instead of my old phone

Had the same problem, activated eSIM and then stopped working. Tried to delete the secondary eSIM as i didn't have one so network couldn't activate and that seemed to be what caused the whole esim to fail activating, but that deleted the whole esim. So i tried to download the esim again and reuse the QR code, but of course my physical sim had been disabled so i couldn't receive the text messages for the PIN, and therefore unable to activate. Ended up having to call EE support, who had to manually activate my esim their end but what they don't tell you is that it can take 24hrs to activate. This is a huge inconvenience for me so please if you do decide to swap for an esim, please be warned if you have any problems you will be left without a phone for 24hrs. EE should be very clear about that when giving instructions!
