Cant login to EE account after changing number via PAC

I created an EE account which worked and was linked to my SIM.

I then used a PAC code to move my number from my old provider to my sim on EE. But now when i try and login to my EE account it tries to text the old EE number for authentication which obviously doesnt work.

Ive tried creating a new EE account with the newly ported over number but i cant linked the new account to this SIM. It just says details dont match but im guessing the SIM is still linked to my first EE account which i cant login to as it tries to SMS an authentication code to my old SIM.

Any ideas, as im sure i cant be the first person for this to happen to ? I just want to access my account so i can top up my SIM and set monthly plans etc.

Welcome to the EE Community 😊

Whilst you won't be able to amend this at your end without logging in, if you get in touch with our customer care team, they should be able to change the contact number associated with your EE ID, so the ported number comes through instead.
