Hi, I bought EE sim from a local store and have been using it with top-up packs for data, text and call. But I won't use the sim anymore next month, so how can I cancel it? Thank you.

Hi @Osato,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
You can text STOP to 150 to cancel your pack.
Hope this helps.

Thank you for replying, just text STOP to 150 and it will automatically stop my pack and cancel my sim/phone number too right? Because I read somewhere that if I want to cancel the contract then I have to call 150 30 days before. Sorry for asking too much🙇♀️.

Hi @Osato,
It'll just stop your pack renewing. Your number will stay active for up to 273 days in case you need it again in future.
You only need to give 30 days notice to cancel a pay monthly contract.

@Osato : Just don't top-up & your pack won't renew until you want it again when you can top-up again.
@James_B : It's not STOP but STOP PACK to 150 that stops your pack renewing for good.

Hi @XRaySpeX,
STOP should perform the same function as STOP PACK, as per How can I get help by texting 150 on pay as you go?

@James_B : That is wrong. Here's the actual response to STOP alone on PAYG:
You've text the wrong number. Text STOP to 1234 to opt out from Marketing.
