I recently got an upgrade but I can't call or text. I put the sim back into the old phone and the same thing happens. What do i do? I clearly can't call 150 but I think I need a new sim sent out. Please help ASAP

Hi @manof5 @Peuceto

Thanks for coming here.

Did you receive a new SIM card with the packaging of your new phone?

This is sometimes in the envelope 🙂

Leanne.

No I didn't get any sim card

Hi @manof5

Thanks for checking, in this case please use the message us option on the Mobile phone (ee.co.uk) page and the team will get this looked into for you.

Leanne.

You sure about that

To connect to the support team please call 150 from your EE mobile to speak to our team. Or you can call 07953 966 250 from any other phone.
Unfortunately our messaging service is no longer available for this topic."

How can I phone on a broken phone?????

Hi @manof5

The billing/account team should be able to check if there has been a SIM card requested and order one for you. If you select this option.

If they are unable to help, you can visit any EE Store with photo ID and they can replace the SIM for you.

Leanne.

You can call from any working phone, it doesn't need to be an EE one. Both landlines & other mobiles can call the number mentioned above.

That's obvious but I live alone and only have one phone. I went out and used someones phone. Sim card is on the way

Many people retain another phone incase there is an issue with their primary provider/technology, but a minority that don't can often find this situation problematic and query what to do.

They may not realise that most operators have an off-net contact number, and presume that they need to be calling from the same operator. It's encouraging that you've found a solution.
