Can't access my old phone - how do i keep my old number

I can't access my old phone for 3 months so have got a cheap pay as you go in the meantime. How can I use my old number til I get my phone back?

@nickd_74 , if you were not with EE, did you get a PAC code from your previous provider?

If it was on pay as you go, it may have gone into hibernation, and you will have to still speak to them to reactivate it.
