Activating new sim on upgraded ipad

How do I activate my sim in upgraded iPad as the 6digit pin doesn’t come through the number I have for the iPad?

Your upgraded plan is now on your old SIM. The new SIM was enclosed just in case the old SIM was faulty.

Yes the old sim still works but thought they sent new one cos it was needed or had benefits I’m paying for that are not available on old one for eg 5g
