Accidental number port request

Hi,

I accidentally sent a porting request to my personal account. I have two numbers linked to my EE account and I accidentally sent a porting request to my personal mobile number.

I contacted EE live chat and they reassured they’d cancelled my request but would like to ask for opinions because I cancelled the PAC code with Vodafone.

Will anything happen now or is everything hunky doorey? Thanks

You'll just have to trust EE that they've cancelled & when Voda try to use the PAC it'll fail.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

i cancelled the PAC code through the Vodafone website so hopefully nothing happens tomorrow. Either I will get a text saying the port failed due to an invalid PAC or I get no service on Tuesday.

Or as EE said via live chat the porting is reversed and nothing happens to my main number.

Hi @Jank0x,

As you've informed both networks of your mistake, the port shouldn't be completed.

Yeah @James_B nothing should happen because I did double check by calling 150 and a representative informed me nothing was pending and no port request is on my account.

I also haven’t received any texts from EE stating a transfer had started so all should be good.
