Use of phone abroad

I go to Bali on 13/10/2024 to 21/10/2024 and then Australia from 21/10/2024 to 8/11/3024 , how do I organise the use of my phone whilst abroad please?

Are you PAYG or pay monthly contract.

If you're pay monthly you'll need to ensure roaming is activated on your account and you have set a spend cap.

For PAYG - ensure your phone is used in the UK first, which enables roaming and unlocks the ability to use foreign networks

For pay-monthly - ensure you text ROAMING to 150 before leaving the UK to ensure roaming is enabled and thus your phone can connect to foreign networks.

The links already provided, give info on the costs to use your phone abroad, including billing add-ons to reduce the cost. For pay-monthly roaming in Australia, consider the £25/billing month Roam Abroad pass which extends your UK allowances.
