Roaming refresh/Free roaming removal - Full Works Plan (after Aug 2024)

I am looking to update my sim-only deal to one of the new Full Works plans. Roaming is important to me, I also need to be able to roam in the USA. I currently have the roam abroad/further pass as a free inclusive extra (2023 all rounder tariff) so I can roam freely in the EU, USA, AUS etc..

I am reading a lot about EE making significant roaming changes next week, with all the different legacy tariffs and previous add-ons its a minefield.

Can someone from EE confirm with certainty, how the new 2024 Full Works tariffs (which include roaming, and roam further as default) will be effected by this change?

Will we benefit from added counties being free to roam in, or be stripped of the benefit. This information must be known to EE, as it goes live next week!

Another concern is being excluded form other new roaming features which may not be widely publicised, in the same was as 5G SA was locked off to existing customers. Example - VoLTE is still not officially supported by EE abroad in most countries, other networks offer this, could this be added and exclude existing customers.

Hi @DukeofUrl  It has been confirmed by Ee on this community that full works plans taken after 29th  August  24

Will be getting Row zone 1 included free of charge exactly when this will happen we don't know but it's coming

Thanks. I hadn’t seen that. It’s like pulling teeth with EE I find. You ask a question but rather than explain the new plans in full you get a short response that doesn’t go beyond your question. It’s a strange way to deal with customers

EE announced these new plans over seven weeks ago, it doesn't seem unreasonable to expect the detail to be published by now and an implementation date to be given to customers.

It does make you wonder if it's coming at all. Can't even access the pass as an inclusive extra so full works totally left out

Hi @Katie_B  Any update on this? If Ee are not in fact going to add Row1 to full works can we at least have the option to add the pass as an inclusive extra at the moment full works are in a worse position than all rounder etc as we don't have access to it as an inclusive extra
