@elenatoo :

  1. Had he used that PAYG SIM for making calls or texts in UK before he left to go abroad? To be used abroad EE PAYG SIMs need 1st activating on EE's home UK network. If it wasn't he can't now use it until he returns to UK.
  2. Did he receive a msg upon arrival telling him about the charges for roaming in EU on PAYG? Did he buy 1 of the "Roam Like Home" add-ons to be able to use his UK pack allowances there?

@elenatoo , if your relative is on monthly contract, did he enabled roaming on his account before going abroad? No need to do this on pay as you go as it is automatically enabled.

Has he received the welcome message since landing in Greece? Often just rebooting the router solves the problem.

Has he gone into settings and under network, switched off automatic and then searched for a different network to see if one of them works?

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Hi Rach_H,

Yes, he has. Now the roaming works though he has not received a confirmation text from EE. This was confusing.

Thank you so much)
