Hello,
I have been trying to use 7 days Roaming data pass in India for my both Monthly pay SIMs on my account. But I am not able to buy this add- on and old travel pass add-on is activated. Also automatic network selection connecting to VI network which is not working - both data or mobile service. A manual selection of network to Airtel does work.. Any help pls adding 7 days Roaming pass pls?

When you arrived in India, did you receive a 'welcome' message with a link to purchase an add-on? Is should be the one I linked below. If you're not able to add through that, can you let me know what error message you get, if you get one?

Regardless of any billing add-on, your ability to get coverage abroad (which calls, texts & mobile data rely on) is dependent on roaming being activated - which allows your phone to connect to foreign networks.
Have you used your phone abroad previously, did you receive a welcome text message on first arrival abroad? These are good evidence of roaming being enabled if so. In these cases, manually cycling through all available local networks often resolves issues - toggling flight mode can have the same effect.
If not...On PAYG, roaming is auto-enabled once your phone is used in the UK first. On pay-monthly, this needs to be enabled manually - usually by texting ROAMING to 150 before leaving the UK. Did you do this?
If you are on pay-monthly and now find yourself abroad without having enabled roaming, your only recourse will be to contact CS to request it activated. You can either contact +44 7953 966150 from another working phone, or +44 800 9566000 using a web-calling app such as Skype over WiFi.

Hi Chris,
I am afraid the link isnt working for me. HTTP Status 400 – Bad Request from laptop, but on my mobile I could the daily data allowance for Travel Data Pass.
The welcome link I received doesn't allow me a way to by 7 day pass.

It may be the fact that you have an active add-on preventing the option of seeing the new ones. However, as you are already abroad, removing your current add-on is not guaranteed to refresh your roaming options and may leave you without an add-on at all. If your current option is working, I'd recommend sticking with that.
