tried switching to monthly sim only plan

marcusdev

I tried texting SWITCH to 150 on my phone, and it just returns a list of valid codes I can use for texting like BOOST, etc..

Currently on an EE pay-as-you-go sim only.

I wish to switch as i think my existing sim gives me 5g, even though i am on a 5g phone. And that monthly sim plans would give me 5g via the esentials plan upwards.

I assume i cannot switch then from my existing sim then.

Hello @marcusdev

Welcome to the community.

If you are not receiving a text confirming you are eligible I would recommend speaking with our customer care team on 150.

Eligible accounts should receive a text back with a discount code.

I confirm that texting SWITCH to 150 from a PAYG SIM does not work & just gives a list of valid text commands.

@Leanne_T : Thanks, but I'm not really bothered. I don't use my PAYG mobile routers other than for answering Qs on here.
