so i buy pay as you go sims so i have a number incase of emergency, when you sign up to something they want your number so my bank/stock market/paypal is all connected to my numbers and want to send me a code for a more secure login. but because i dont use my phone outside of emergency calls or login to bank/finance codes i dont top up.. so my numbers have been turned off or whatever happened and i can not log into anything i need to.. and obviously they put a imbecile in charge of the system so i can not top up those numbers without them being reactivated and cant reactivate them with topping them up. 'go figure' what am i supposed to do?
edit- i've since managed to top up £5 on the deactivated number which should have revived it no? with the website my ee make a payment where you just need email adress/physical address and bank card details, but number still appears to be down.

Sounds like your PAYG SIM may have gone into hibernation due to non-use. If it has, topping-up now would be too late.
When did you previously make a chargeable action? EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-chargeable use. You then have a further 3 months period of grace to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.
You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.
