Hi there. I have had a very attract tive orange mobile number 12 years ago in the UK using pay-as-you-go. When I left UK, i keep that number and sim card with me and have not used it these years. Now I will come back to work in the UK, so I want to use the old number for my new phone. I am wondering if that can be done? Can anybody tell me how can I do that?
Thanks a lot!

@Liumohan1002 : As you haven't used that PAYG no. for years, you've lost it for good. They are deactivated after 9 months of non-use.

Likely not, no. the number will have been recycled. Orange don't even exist anymore, they merged with t-Mobile to make EE

Orange number ranges are now EE number ranges, and are used interchangeably.
If the number remains live & in-service, then it will continue. If you seek a new number for whatever reason, you'll be issued with the next available number from any EE range.
