activation of old number

Dear EE, 

I used to have a pay as you go sim with number xxxxxxxxxxx, I have not used it for some time now because I have travelled abroad. I was wondering if this can be activated to enable me to use the service again, please.

After so long you've lost & can't get it back.

You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.

Welcome to the community,

How long is it since you used your SIM card? If it has been deactivated, you will not get it back, if it has gone into hibernation, then you can reactivate it, by ringing customer service, as after six months, it will have gone and cannot be retrieved.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

The phone has not been used for about 1 year now. Which means I can not get this reactivated

Thank you for the information, I really appreciate it, however, your first line reads 'After so long you've lost & can't get it back' do you mean if i made a chargeable action can I get the line back. Can you clarify this point.

No, it's too late. You needed to make those chargeable calls in the 1st 6 months before it went into hibernation.
