Using Phone in Italy

I currently have a EE sim for when I visit family in England. We are traveling to Italy before that, and I want to be able to use the EE data there. I was going to buy an 8GB subscription pack. It says it renews every 30 days, but does that mean if I buy the pack on the 29th of July, will I be charged twice for my two week trip (once on the 29th and once on the 1st of August)? I also want to make sure that we can use the roam like home add-on with a 8GB subscription pack.

@Z9SQ : No, you buy it on 29 July and it won't expire until 28 August. Why would you think you would be charged 3 days later?

You will be offered the Roam-Like-Home add-ons when you enter the EU provided you have already bought the pack.

I wasn't sure if the subscription pack was monthly, as in it has a specific start and end date. I just wanted to confirm because it’s not fun seeing a charge come in that I was unaware of.
