I have a phone it was on contract but now cancelled. I was told I could put data on it by top up either online or voucher. I did it online but no data even though it took my payment? Am I missing something?

Hi @Kim562
Welcome to the community.
When you cancelled, did you request to change the SIM to pay as you go? It usually happens 30 days after you put the request in.

No I didn’t realise I had to. I spoke to EE last week as the contract was cancelled a while ago. The woman just said I could top up. Do I need a different SIM ?

It sounds like she may have set it up to change to pay as you go, @Kim562. You don't need a new SIM, your current SIM should just change to pay as you go after 30 days.
