Can you perhaps explain what exactly you mean by..

"pushed into this contract", "they are not helping at all".... "no one to reach out to"..... none of those statements mean anything without a little explanation.... but feel free to provide a detailed explanation....

It's absolutely right to say that "I still have to pay for something I am not using" if you have a legally binding contract and EE are upholding their side of the deal by providing service.

Do please give some explanation of your circumstances.

@StreamingArt , when you took out the contract, did you not check the length of it?

Unfortunately, you will either have to keep using the SIM card until the minimum term is up or pay off the rest of the contract, they are right with what they say, as you could have checked it before agreeing to it.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 7953 966 or +44 330 123 1105.

Thank you for taking the time to answer, the thing with calling the number and talking with someone .. I called and they said a manager will speak to me and 57 minutes later on hold they closed the phone on me and tried to call back and their schedule ended so they did that on purpose to waste my time.. I wanted to speak about my complaint that they closed without any solution..

When they gave me the contract I was at the train station in need of internet addon because I needed it for the train app when I called them for extra internet the guy said it will be fir a month but ended up to be contract for 2 years

Pushed into the contract - I wanted a data add on but the guy gave me contract

They are not helping at all - called and was put on hold for 57 minutes then they dropped the call on me

No one to reach out - they are closed when I finish work and via chat

Hi @StreamingArt.

I'm sorry to hear about your recent experience when calling to discuss an ongoing complaint.

We have no account access here on the community so unable to look into this further for you.

I understand it's frustrating but our customer care team are in the best position to look into this. When you have a moment please give us another call.

It would be great if you could also keep us updated here on the community.

Katie

Well I am still waiting for EE team to get back to me on my complaint and for my request.
There is no update as of yet because they left me waiting ...
So I done my part and contacted them , now I am waiting for them to follow up with my case and I have a feeling that wont happen anytime soon from the experience I had so far.

I do work in customer service too for last 6 years and I never done this to a customer...

New contracts & upgrades normally need an on-screen acknowledgement on either a desktop terminal or tablet. Are you saying this didn't happen?

If you called, then what else do you mean by "no one to reach out to"? You're calling.... is that what you mean by "reaching out"?

Where do you work, that your hours are 8-9pm every weekday and 8-8pm all weekend?

At this point I feel like I am repeating myself again and the community kinda works for EE rather than actual a community.
I said I called and after I was placed on hold for 53 minutes they dropped the phone on me ..
Its natural that they should be the ones to call me back since they never actually continued with my call after they said I will get back to you before he put me on hold..

New contracts and upgrades no idea what on screen acknowledgement is or desktop terminal .. I didnt have any of them at the train station when I was talking with person a year ago.l

Where I work is not relevant, I do 8 AM until 6.30 PM then I have to travel for around 1 hour and signal is only good when I get home and when I get home rather than sitting on the phone another hour I preffer to spend it with my family..
So if you do work for EE then please refrain from commenting.

This feels like EE Employee forum rather than community..
It feels like you all say that is EE is rainbow and buterflies and all is perfect..

In one previous post you mentioned about being a carer for a relative in whose name these contracts were taken. If that's the case, then some degree of discovering loose ends is entirely understandable.

That said, this forum is a public one, and you've already had replies from the EE staff team identified as such. Many people who post here, don't always appreciate replies that criticise themselves - and automatically assume those replies are from "EE is great" staffers. It is entirely possible that other posters happen to hold a contrary opinion on your circumstances to yours - that doesn't mean they're EE shills, fanboys or whatever other term you choose to give them.

Good luck resolving your issues, but please do consider some of the points about financial responsibility - they might well help you in dealings with many other companies, not just EE.
