Top up 4gee Wi-Fi mini

Kewood92

Hi,

I need to top up my 4gee Wi-Fi mini but no amount of searching through the website and asking my geek friends is working.

I’ve read about loads of people having this issue so this NEEDS fixing! We’ve been let down by Virgin Media today with regards to broadband in our new house and wanted to use my EE Wi-Fi mini in the interim.

I have My EE on the app, on safari, on Google Chrome over two devices and NOPE! Can’t find a way of topping up my card so I can get some more data.

Please help! My housemate needs internet to work from home!

Katy

@gemjam : MyEE doesn't work for registering PAYG MBB devices or at least those with data SIMs. It stops at telling you to connect your device & login to it, but when you've done as instructed it doesn't have anywhere for you to say you've done it.

You may continue using your device but you just can't register it to MyEE.

  1. Use Fast Top Up online with a UK bank card. You don't need to login or register anything. All you need is your mobile no.
  2. Go to http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status from the device will tell you your usage.
  3. Go to http://add-on.ee.co.uk/purchase from the device to buy add-ons.

These should still work.

Try using Fast Top Up online with a UK bank card. You don't need to login or register anything. All you need is your mobile no. & it doesn't remember your card details.

Thanks for the reply.

However, it’s a Wi-Fi dongle thing so it doesn’t have a number!

Oh, yes it does! It's a mobile device.

To discover your mobile no.:

  1. In your online MyEE below "My Mobile - Manage" go to Menu (top L - 3 bars) > A/C Settings > Manage numbers > Your numbers, OR
  2. Look at http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi to see mobile no. as well data & credit status.

How do I I put the number? I can’t find anything that is like a mobile number!

Where can't you find it? In the 2 places I suggested you look or the Top-up site?

This top up method doesn't work for me either it just

takes me back to the same page every single time, I've been using the 120gb for 2 weeks, need to top up and have been going in literal circles for an hour now

Does anyone have any other fixes cos this is going in the bin if I can't get it done 🤦‍♀️

Topping up shouldn't be that hard to do lol
