Can’t top up my 4GEE wifi pay as you go

I have spent the last day trying to top up my 4GEE Wifi dongle and I have tried what I believe is everything. I have watched every video, gone on every forum, tried to call up, the list goes on.

Whenever I get to the page I need to be on it shuts down or it automatically closes and crashes. I have tried different WiFi’s, using my data, using a hotspot but nothing.

I have tried to click on the top up £40, 120gb feature when it tries to connect to my phone but that crashes when I open it. It says to top up you have to have data and there is obviously none left in my account. I have bought the Wifi dongle for £100 and so far seems like a waste 🤷‍♂️

Would appreciate any help

Thanks

@Ja3km13 :, Try using Fast Top-up online to pay by UK bank card. You don't need to login or register anything. All you need is your mobile no. & it doesn't remember your card details.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

Hi there,

I appreciate the quick response.

I have clicked on that link and it’s asking for uk mobile number, i have entered my number but I do not have an ee number so it is not working. I have tried linking the sim to my account but that doesn’t work either.  I have tried putting in the number on my SIM card in my 4gee WiFi dongle but that is too long. I have tried texting the number 150 and sending the SIM card number but it’s failing to send.

What else can you suggest?

Thanks

It wants your mobile router's mobile no. How how you gonna run it w/out its mobile no.?

Mobile routers contain a SIM. All SIMs have a mobile no. Visit http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi to see your data & credit status as well as its mobile no. at the top.

The mobile router has no data left. It is empty, I cannot access wifi with it, that is what I have been saying. I can’t access it on another wifi network either, hence why I cannot top up.

The mobile number on the sim does not work when I enter it. It’s only asking for an EE phone number.

You can top up from wherever you are posting from. It's just going to a website just like coming here.

You don't need data to go to the add-on link. It's within the EE network & so is unmetered.

The SIM's mobile no. is an EE phone no.

That link you sent above I cannot open, it says connection isn’t secure. No matter what WiFi network/ data I use I cannot open any tabs to do with topping up.  It should be like going to another website, but it’s not. When I type top up 4GEE WiFi in my EE app it crashes and goes grey and unresponsive.
