I have purchased Roaming by paying a daily rate. To fully benefit from this do I need to switch on Roaming on my iPhone?

Welcome to the community,

Roaming should be automatically enabled on pay as you go, unless you specifically requested it to be switched off, then you would have to ring customer service, if ever it was possible to have it switched off on pay as you go.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

If you are paying a daily rate for roaming, you ain't on PAYG but on a contract. PAYG is free to roam in EU.

Roaming is also a facility, that is free of charge to enable.

When users refer to "paying for roaming", it usually means a billing add-on, which is separate from the free facility.
