Roaming in spain

How can I add roaming data to my mobile for Spain for each day and how many days before I travel I would need to add it so it will be activated as I don’t need it until 31st August-2nd September? 

once I don’t need it would I need to deactivate it ?

Are you an EE pay monthly contract customer or PAYG?

If you're pay monthly then you are best off with the roam abroad pass:

Don't forget to activate roaming before you leave (text ROAMING to 150).

For PAYG there are now roaming charges for using your pack allowances in the EU of either £2.50 / day, by texting ROAMEU1D to 150, or £10 / week, by texting ROAMEU7D to 150, to be taken only from your PAYG credit, not your recurring card payment. You will receive a msg upon arrival telling you about the charges for roaming in EU. If you opt to text neither or you don't have an active pack, you will be paying standard rates for calls & texts & need to buy a small add-on for data.

If I have a monthly contract can I still do the £2.50 per day option as I will only be in Spain for 3 days?

@Fkar12 : Not if you are on contract. The £2.50 / day add-on is for PAYG, which is where you originally posted.

On contract you will be paying £2.29 on each day you use any of your UK allowances in EU.
