But I am also having this issue for my son's PAYG account, £10 credit but cannot purchase any plan to actually use his SIM. Been an issue for over a month, always the same error.
Purchase of the addon has been attempted via the app and via the website. We will try the text approach.

I have this issue on my son's PAYG mobile and he's not roaming, it's been a problem for about a month and he has £10 credit on his account to purchase it.

@TechieBeardo : What are you trying to buy for him? Is it a PAYG pack or a particular type of add-on?
