I have acct, and sim has been used in UK couple of months ago. There is a c/c registered but has costs as I reside in Australia.
i am trying to re-activate my sim as I will be in Europe for 3 months, of which the last month I will be in UK.
trying to get a pack for the 3 months as this appears to be most beneficial even though I really only need data. (use messenger for calling usually).
my issue: cannot buy pack nor top up I think bc cannot register a new c/card - want to use my WISE card as it has no costs and is loaded with GBP.
EE after login accepts my payment, asks Wise to authorise (in app) which I do and okay, but never processes anything nor gives me error it just simply does not happen.
1. can I not purchase a pack bc I do not have UK address they can check????
2. Can I not change card registered???? Or can I not use this card for top up if I have a previous card that was different? I have input card details.
3. or is the Wise card I use everywhere in EU not valid or acceptable?
why does this not work - is there something else I have not considered maybe ???
would much appreciate the community’s response if possible.
How should I contact EE to resolve?

Your post reads as though you are on PAYG, but can you confirm that?

My info shows 00 credit,
my sim has not been used for couple of months (I do not live in Europe)
if it is PAYG prob bc I topped up last visit only.
does that mean I cannot use different CC?
can I not buy a pack for 3 months?
do I have to live and have checked as correct a UK address?
Is wise c/c not acceptable or can I not change CC used before?
surely there must be a way, I am not the only person in this situation ..??

If you haven’t used your phone for any chargeable activity for 179 days, your account will go into hibernation and any credit would be removed. To check if the account is in hibernation and reinstate the account if needed, please get in touch with our Customer Care team.

Hi Leanne, thx for your response.
I don’t believe it has been 179 days and messages request me to top up/purchase recommended pack.
Have used data on 31/10 and 30days did not expire until at least mid November. Had thought I could use data in Middle East but could not use without paying separately again. Hence credit Dit not run out till mid Nov.
I will have to wait until Monday and try to contact customer service.
Not sure how I can email but will have to get local wifi to contact to get this resolved.

Try using Fast Top Up online with a UK bank card. You don't need to login or register anything. All you need is their mobile no. & it doesn't remember your card details.
Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. on Skype over WiFi. It should be free.
