Will buying a Pack using credit override the automatic Card payment, and can the pack purchased using credit then be queued to commence on the usual renewal date?

Hi @XRaySpeX,

We no longer offer recurring top ups to top up the account balance, just direct card payments which automatically purchase a pack when a current pack expires.

Hi @BetsPhone,

To purchase a pack from your credit, text PACK(value of pack you'd like to purchase) to 150.

E.g. PACK10 to purchase a £10 pack.

So, as long as I carry out the above instructions prior to the recurring card payment date, then no  payment will be taken?

What's the situation if there is still credit remaining, but it's insufficient to purchase any Pack? 

Nowt can be bought.

So what happens to the remaining Credit? Can it be refunded?

Hi @BetsPhone,

Pay as you go credit is non-refundable but it will remain on your account until used for out of bundle charges etc.

This is interesting. It can be summarised thus when you have a Direct Card Payment set-up:

  • The Direct Card Payment will only be used to buy a pack at the time when the proceeding pack expires.
  • At any other time a pack may be bought from your credit. It will be held pending until the current pack expires & then it will start instead of taking a Direct Card Payment.
