Hey there @Testme
Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community.
Normally roaming should be active by default on pay as you go numbers; did you use this SIM for a call whilst in the UK before you travelled?

Iam truly baffled....
I have this sim card for over 4 years.
I used it in the UK and abroad... Never faced problem / any issue with it, until now.
As I said. It worked fine for both phone calls and messaging.
This time, it stopped, I only receive messages, yet can Not send messages and or replies, nor making phone calls. phone calls disconnected.
I downloaded "sim manager" investigating the sim card. I found out; sim card disconnected, no network connections
On details of sim card, my mobile phone shown without country code. I have tried to edit the phone number, by adding +44 / 0044. Yet wasn't allowed to save the changes.
No joy at all
Thank you for responding to my cry for help...
I will Not give up...

I agree with you,
My pay as you go sim card was working fine for years. I made sure to recharge and use it on regular basis.
When I do not use the line, I get a nudge reminder from EE reminding me to top up my line, and use it, otherwise the line will be disconnected...
My mobile number is listed active for years and I use it for my banking and other things...
As I said to Peter,
I even downloaded "sim manager" app to access sim card content.
Found My mobile number listed without country code. could Not edit the number.
Also, it says No network "disconnected"...
I need desperately resolving this matter... I am now in Turkey and I hate getting stuck
I will Not give up.... And thank you for messaging me...
Someone, somewhere has an answer, and can help...
Thank you again

Why is this not possible? That's the best chance you have of speaking to a CS agent.
As mentioned previously, authentication onto mobile networks uses the IMEI/IMSI combination - not a mobile number.
