Message not sent; Phone number not formatted correctly

I have recently moved to the Netherlands and changed my EE pay monthly contract to PAYG, keeping my English number for when I visit home. To keep my number active I wanted to sent a few texts back to the UK, however all of my numbers now say "Message not sent, phone number formatted I correctly" and I'm not sure why. I have credit on my phone and even tried purchasing a text bundle but this didn't work. Any ideas?

Hi @EmilyRH

Have you added the region code for the country you're calling?

Thanks

@EmilyRH , when you changed from pay monthly to pay as you go, did you do this in the Netherlands or here in the UK? You would have needed to activate and make a chargeable call/text in the UK first when changing from pay monthly to pay as you go for it to work abroad.
