Until recently, I just rang 150 and I almost immediately got a text telling me how many texts I had left in my allowance. For some days this service hasn't worked! - very inconvenient! I really need this info, and regularly! - anyone know how I can get it? Thanks.

Hi @RichH3,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
If your SIM card is active, you should receive a response after sending BALANCE to 150. Has anything come through yet?
Can I check if you're in the UK or roaming abroad?

Thanks James, I'm permanently in England; however, I don't have a smartphone, only a very basic Nokia - could this be the reason I'm not getting anything back? As I said previously, until about a week ago, whenever I rang 150 to get the balance in my account, I'd almost immediately get a text back telling me how many texts I had left till the end of the week; but this service hasn't worked at all for the past week or so. Might EE have withdrawn this service from non-smartphones, I'm wondering? The reason I'm especially wanting to sort this is that my allowance ran out far more quickly than it should have done, and I'm trying to figure out why this has happened. Thanks again!

Hi @RichH3,
You should still be able to check your balance via text and by calling 150 on any phone.
What happens when you call 150?
Can you get a response by texting AL to 150?
Can you still make/receive other texts and calls?
James

Thanks James_B.
When I ring 150 (which I just did again), it tells me what the money balance is in my account and then the usual message. But again, I've not then received a text telling me how many texts I have left in my allowance for the week; till about a week ago, this is what always used to happen.
I just texted 'AL' to 150, and again, nothing has come back.
Texting and calls are functioning normally.
I'm mystified...

It takes me to the ee home page, but I can't see any way of accessing details of my account! there - I've tried every possible link on that page yesterday, and none give me access to my account details 😞

Perhaps you don't have an active pack & therefore no text allowance left.
What does texting AL to 150 from your no. fully report verbatim (it is free)?
