Hello, I'm traveling to Europe. This page says that there is an add on for 500MB data that can be bought for £3: https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/roaming/pay-as-you-go-charges-for-roaming-in-the-eu . However, I don't see this as being available for me to buy anywhere. Are there particular steps to find it? The page says this is necessary for people without a subscription pack, and I have a recurring PAYG package. I'm not sure if that counts as a subscription pack, but if so, is this add on not available in that case?

@Pagw : A recurring PAYG package is a recurring PAYG pack. It will contain some data. If you want more that's up to you.
Visit http://add-on.ee.co.uk/purchase when not connected to WiFi to see what data add-ons are available.

Yes I am trying to buy a data roaming add on.
At that link, I just get error "This site can’t be reached".

Thanks for joining us on Community @Pagw
You can only buy those roaming add-ons once you have arrive at your international destination.
Are you already abroad or still in the UK?

I am now abroad. The link does not work for me here.

It seems like an inconvenient system to only allow roaming add ons to be bought abroad, when roaming may be needed in order to make the purchase!

@Pagw The purchase page is always accessible when abroad, even without any bundle in place.
Usually you receive a text message once arriving abroad with a link to buy bundles that are available for the destination you are in.
Can you go to the add on page ?

Use another browser, not Edge or any browser that turns HTTP: into HTTPS: . Chrome works on it.

OK the link seems to be working for me now. I'm not sure what changed.
However, this illustrates the fragility of only allowing people to buy these add ons when abroad, when they may need data when arriving into a country. I've had to pay £10 for the option to use my UK allowances for the next 7 days instead as I couldn't buy a pack when I needed to.
Is there a way to feed this back to EE's customer service team?

Also, if that link only works when abroad and "when not connected to WiFi" then how are you supposed to get a pack before needing to use mobile roaming?
