Dear EE community,
I need some help regarding my EE sim card. I have top it up for £30 a sim card and was thinking to add that credit to apple account. When I try to do that, the apple store is not allowing me. For example when I try to add a payment method I chose mobile then there is this option that say use this number. I click on it because that sim card with £30 is in the phone. When I click done top right corner it tries to add it but then it gives me a message in red colour. This is what it say.
There might be a billing issue with your mobile account. Please contact your provider or add a new payment method.
When I try to do the same with a O2 sim card it works but with EE it does not.
Some people online said that the premium rate services are disabled on your account. I mean I don't have any account with this sim card. All I want to do is use this credit on apple pay so I can buy some games inside apple store.
Why has EE disabled this?
Any help?

But can you please tell us why the EE does not allow this to work like O2? I mean you are blocking my credit and I paid real money for it. I don't want to use it on calls or text because I have my own contract. Why block us from spending it on Apple shop? It's a real scam to be honest.

I'm sorry @Leon-M, I'm not able to shed any light on why you are not able to set up your SIM credit to be billed from the Apple shop.
I recommend speaking with our team again who may be able to explain this, or can raise a complaint if you are unhappy with this.
