EE PAYG - No data on £30 100GB Sim

Hi there.

Just purchased a (zero, no contract) 100gb PAYG sim from EE.

The sim arrived today, but I'm unsure how it works.

I received 2 pieces of paper saying that: £20 & £10 top-up will be added in 2 days.  Does this sound right?

Thanks.

Hi @Bubba2000

Where did you buy the SIM from?

Thanks

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone. You can call Freephone +44 800 079 8586 on Skype

EE standard opening hours are 8am to 10.30pm every day.

Hi there.

I purchased it directly from the EE website.

There's no data, and I checked the balance via 150 (AL), but comes back as zero.

Thanks.

@Bubba2000 : The £20 & £10 top-up doesn't sound right with both but in 2 days time is usual. How much did you pay for it? That's how much you'll get in 2 days time. You won't be able to get any data until it's topped up.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC => 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC => 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC => 2022: EE 80 Meg FTTC (no landline number)

I paid: £29.99 for it (opted for the 100GB plan).

There was nothing re: topping up the sim to activate it, just the following info on both pieces of paper:

'Your chosen pack will start will start as soon as you call, text, or browse'

'Your £10/£20 top up will be added to your account within 2 days'

Hello @Bubba2000

Since your last post has your pack activated?

Katie

Hi Katie.

No, afraid no data.

I put the sim into my router, and a tab came up and displayed an EE page:

You don't have any data

Get online with a data add-on

Thanks for getting back to me @Bubba2000

I would recommend giving us a call so our customer care team can take a further look at this for you.

Katie

I just can't seem to get thru to anyone via: 07953 966 150.

Is there a number I can call to speak to someone re PAYG?

Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig.
