Dialling international numbers when abroad on pay as you go

Trying to dial a US number while here in the states but it won’t allow it. Any reason why?

Your allowances only include calling or texting EU or UK nos. while in EU but not outside it. Therefore you need PAYG credit to call non-EU nos. while in US. Do you have sufficient? For such charges refer to https://ee.co.uk/help/help-new/roaming-costs/countries/usa > PAYG.

On my plan I should be able to Call a US number from my phone but it is not working.

@A1Virginia Are you in the UK ? If you are have you enabled calling abroad? This call will be an international call so is chargeable. You can enable this by texting CALL ABROAD to 150

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

@A1Virginia : Where are you? Are you also on PAYG as was the OP of this thread you latched onto? If so, no plan allows you to call a US no. for free.
