Converting PAYG phone SIM to Data only SIM

Can I buy an off the shelf mobile PAYG SIM and convert it to a Data SIM?

Hi @CraigR 

To get a data only pack, you'd need to order one specifically. The new subscription packs come with more data, with an allowance of calls and texts, although you may not need/use them.

I can't see any limits on them, so it should be the fastest available 4G speeds, @354-

You can't convert a PAYG phone SIM into a data SIM per se but in terms of data a PAYG phone SIM with a pack comes with more data & is cheaper per data than a data SIM from EE. Alternatively have a look at EE Connected Data SIMs on like Amazon as these should have more data &/or be better value for money than those from EE direct.
