I placed an order for Nintendo switch added onto my contact paid £10 upfront cost and had no email or texts since when I put it in the order tracker it says it cannot be found

I currently have an EE SIM inserted in a Galaxy Go Book that allows me unlimited data. The SIM also allows me limited call minutes and texts.Is there a way for me make calls and send texts using the SIM whilst inserted in the Go Book?TIA
