Unable to unlock 2nd hand mobile locked to EE

Jacq777

Hey, I bought a Huawei p30 Pro on ebay.

It's locked to EE, imei check says its not blacklisted.

However I am having a problem with my p30 Pro. When trying to unlock online via EE website, I am getting sorry something went wrong try again later after inputting the imei number.

Been trying for a week using different browsers but no luck.

It's not possible to call and speak to anyone at EE as ivr tells you to go online and hangs up.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

@Jacq777  Out of curiosity have you tried a different network sim in the device to see if it’s already network unlocked?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hey Chris, yes I have tried it and it's asking for the NCK code

@Jacq777   You should be able to speak with customer services if you’re having issues with the web form.   Try selecting a different option when you call them.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Thanks Chris, Do you know the best number to call? The 07953966150 or 08000798586 and 08009566000 don't give you many options that even remotely fit

Hi @Jacq777,

If you call us on 07953966150 and press 1 when prompted you will be sent a link by text. If you open that link, select Mobile phone> Customer Care> Account> For anything else> Speak to us, enter your query there, that you are unable to unlock your phone using the website and our team will call you back within 15 minutes to help pass your unlocking request on to the dedicated unlocking team.
