Ps5 in stores or online?

Hi I’m trying to find out if the PlayStation 5 is stocked locally in store or if it’s only an online order. My local branch never answer the phone (annoying) and customer services say they don’t know which seems suspect to me (probably want me to order through them for commission purposes) pls help. Has anyone ever just gone in and placed your order and got it there and then? Thanks

@4ndy82

Typically those working for EE over the phone don't have access to local store stock information as they are technically two distinct separate parts of the business (contact centre vs EE Retail). They will only be able to access warehouse stock.

Only EE stores themselves can advise on stock within their own and potentially other stores.

Stores generally do stock Gaming Products though, definitely not online-only. Just dependent on what they've had delivered and sold as to whether you'll be able to get one.

@XRaySpeX the EE Store website is an evolution of the BT Shop which is, and has always been, essentially an independent online retailer which has no interaction with the Retail entities (apart from stores being able to direct customers there and get the credit for purchases made if they don't have stock available locally).

All stock from the EE Store site is dispatched from warehouses for direct delivery. Nothing about its offering has changed since being BT Shop, it just underwent a rebrand to EE when New EE launched.

Have you looked on EE Store | Gaming, Smartphones, Laptops, TVs, & Smart Home which is the High St. store's online outlet?
