iPad mini 2021

Hi

so I’ve recently just purchased an iPad mini 2021 with a SIM card but can’t received any texts or phone calls from it. I’ve reset it but I’m actually really disappointed as I was sold it to be a cellular device and it’s not so I’ve wasted money can someone help please

iPads can't make calls and send texts independently, but you can link it to an iPhone number using Apple's WiFi Calling service.

The SIM that came with your iPad is to provide a mobile data service.
