Failing miserably to top-up with rubbish voucher

Got one of your sims, bad move, and a £5 voucher.  Put the sim in my iPad Mini and tried to register top-up or whatever you have to do, and nothing.  Tried texting ‘VO’ followed by the 16 digit voucher code, and guess what?  Absolutely nothing; what a surprise there.  What do I need to do to top-up?  I’ve only set-up an account on this rubbish community ‘help’ thing, as I hate all this ‘ask the community’ rubbish.

Hello @DownUnder1

Have you tried calling 150 and trying it that way?

I hate this company and its products.  I just chose a random sim in Tesco, and what a bad move that I chose EE.  I also bought a £5 top up voucher while I was in the store, and am failing miserably whichever method I choose.  The VO to 150 stupid thingy doesn’t work, and if I put the 16 digit voucher code after the VO, still doesn’t work.  All I want to do is top up the stupid sim, why should I need a phd in rocket science to do it?

I have the sim in my iPad Mini, if that helps.  Obviously I can’t call via the iPad, and tried doing it from my phone.  Well I’m not with EE on my phone, thank god, and of course this didn’t work.

Why must you make something that should be simple, so damn hard?

And I hate all this ‘ask the community’ rubbish

@DownUnder1 : Did you put a space between the VO & the 16 digit voucher code?

Try using Fast Top-up online to pay by UK bank card. You don't need to login or register anything. All you need is your mobile no. & it doesn't remember your card details.
