Ordered on the 24th via upgrade. Was pre warned it could potentially take up to 14 days so of course am still awaiting an update. Whilst browsing to see if there was any sign of a date I noticed the website advises it is in stock if I purchase it outright and can expect delivery in 1-3 business days. Just wondering why that is?

Part and parcel of ordering new devices. 

No carrier has excess stock over what is a guaranteed orders as that no business sense.

There are different stock levels for Pay Monthly device plans and outright device sales.

Essentially think of it as coming from 2 separate warehouses with their own independent stocks.
