Z Fold 6 pre-order with free Galaxy Buds3 Pro Silver

Hi,

I upgraded my phone yesterday and upgraded to the Z Fold 6 with the offer of a free pair of Galaxy Buds3 Pro.

The website says the Buds will be delivered to me 15-30 days after the order has been placed, but the lady I did the upgrade with yesterday said I would have to claim them with Samsung?

There is no mention of the Buds3 Pro on the order email/invoice that was sent to me either.

Can someone please clarify how these will be claimed or if they will be sent out by EE as the website says?

I'm in the same boat pre ordered the fold 6 expecting the buds to show up a month later. Got text saying they delayed because of the quality issue samsung had. Heard nothing since and getting no help from ee

Was on the phone for an hour last night about the buds. Expecting a call back tomorrow morning and hopefully I'll have my buds delivered next week. Ee is dropping the ball a lot with it comes to promotions.

After your assistance, we have made progress and today I have received a text message from EE to state the gift buds are being sent and DPD will update. 

Which is progress as the first contact I have had in any form regarding the buds since pre ordering. 

Having had no less than 20 calls into customer services, I cannot thank you enough for clearly assisting in a resolution and restoring my faith in EE's customer support based on you and your teams efforts. 

 

Concern is there will be potentially thousands of people in my very position that would not be scanning reddit or community pages for an answer, they would be accepting what customer services are stating and accepting they've lost. I hope those are equally compensated in honouring what was promised. 

While previous experiences with claiming via Samsung have been seamless, this promotion has not been managed well and hopefully provides a mechanism for EE to better assess and plan future promotion processes, specifically the visibility to all tiers of staff that require the information and/or training to support the customers.

Again, you have been the provider of what appears to be a light at the end of this frustrating tunnel.

Customer service have been absolutely appalling on this. 

I qualified for the promotional offer and still haven’t received anything. Agents have told me I need to claim from Samsung, I need to wait etc. 

I will probably never get the buds and I’ll definitely never take a phone out with EE again. 

Hi Alex, I can see you are helping people with the missing buds 3 and wondered if you could help me. I have spoken to an adviser who told me to call samsung which I have and they said it was your promotion which one of your previous post seems to indicate so wondering how I go on about getting them as the EE adviser keeps filling out forms and saying they will get back to me. Any help appreciated.

Hi, So I've had no luck chasing this. My last correspondence was in December where I was told it would be with me soon and that it was a supplier issue... The forum seems the best way to chase this so can someone get in touch with me? Any help is appreciated
