Still awaiting pixel 9 pro XL 256gb hazel

I'm so disappointed. I ordered the upgrade of pixel 9 pro XL 256gb in hazel on 27 august. When speaking to advisor said in stock and should be dispatched within 24 hours. Still it hasn't even been dispatched. Why say to the customer it's in stock and then no updates at all?

The current estimated timescale for that version is to expect dispatch within seven days. DPD will be in touch with you when it is ready to be delivered.

So basically passing the buck on to DPD.

I there a stock issue causing a hold up?

We pay enough for our contracts to get more than buck passing.

I ordered on 25th August and was told the product would be dispatched withing three days. It's been nine and I've had no updates, unable to track the order number, nothing. Advisor on the phone (28th Aug) said dispatch within seven days, so assuming tomorrow... but not holding out hope. 

I called EE on Saturday,I gave my order number, This was retrieved,and was then told that the order hadn't went through and would have to be donee put again,went through the order ,and trade in to be told that's fine ,blah blah ,and the cost was 55 a month,they said they couldn't put the pre order discount through if £480 as this was now finished,

I had a bit of debate with agent who said that nothing could be done with this now ,as no offers were on now ,again had a bit of debate and asked to be put through to his "supervisor",as I believe he wasn't bothered,

Was eventually put through to a "supervisor" who got my original order up ,I went through the exact same thing as previously,told her I couldn't check my order online as it wouldn't show any updates,and that.it said dispatch would be upwards of 28 days ,so this was me calling to check order after 30 days.

She found that the order didn't go through as 2 discounts were put through on-line on original order hence why it didn't go through.

I explained that wasn't my problem,as no contact was made to tell me there was an issue with order, otherwise I would have redone it.

But as the mistake was on there side why isn't the discount going through for trade-in (was offered £30)

Told her only reason was that the trade in sold the phone to me, eventually she put trade in through but not the other discount ,which I agreed to ,papers signed ,fone ordered ,was told DPD would be in touch Sunday with delivery details...... guess DPD don't have it as still no delivery details for me,surely EE haven't got that bad since merger with BT,used to be a joy to deal with,now just seem like the others 

Very disappointing
