I placed an order on the 20th Jan for an s24 ultra black 1Tb and enquired with customer service when I would receive my order.
I was informed that it would be shipped in 3-5 days and that it was marked as a priority as I enquired.
It's now the 25th and having heard nothing from EE besides an order confirmation, I contacted EE support last night and was told it would be delivered in 14 days due to delays.
I'm seriously considering cancelling my order now as this is the second time this has happened to me.. the last time I ordered a note 8 and got an email on the day of the delivery that they cancelled the shipment. I then went in-store and cancelled my order and took the phone from the franchise instead.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there any possibility that the phone will be sent sooner? After these two experiences I'm not going to be ordering from EE in future as they have let me down both times.

The device was only released yesterday by Samsung and you are still within the 3-5 days from release you were told. If you have now spoken to CS and there are delays becase of stock then there is not much EE can do if Samsung haven't supplied the stock.
Keep checking EE order tracking;
When your order is ready DPD will text you a delivery slot.

I spoke to EE today and they told me the 14 days quoted is the maximum time it will take and if I want I can order the violet colour and get it in 24-48 hours.
Cancelled the old order and placed a new one so fingers crossed will arrive within the time fram quoted

I ordered mine on the 18th via customer service.
Was then emailed saying i will receive it on the 24th then contacted cs again then told 25th which was today. Contacted them again today to be told 24 to 30 days from now for my s24 ultra 1tb. Ridiculous that I have proof of email to state its being delivered on the 24th. Unacceptable. Im thinking the same EE customer service has dropped so badly its soon time to go elsewhere UNFORTUNATELY

I was told Violet 1tb could be delivered 2 to 3 days. But wanted Black

I understand where your coming from it's frustrating with the lack of clear information.
I ordered the violet after switching from black and it's coming tomorrow got a text from DPD so may be worth it if the colour doesn't bother you and you plan on using a case anyways

I have pre-ordered the s24 ultra on 20th is now 10 days later and not even update email on delivery delay from EE.

EE, this is shocking! My order says "on track" but the phone has now been officially released.
I spoke to customer services last night, they advised there were no supply issues and that I'd have the handset today. They also said I'd have no 24 hour warning and that tracking would be updated ON THE DAY.
Unsurprisingly given the very suspect feedback above, my order has not been updated, no handset or indication of when I can expect which doesn't enable me to plan my commutes/WFH schedule.
Sort it out. One of the biggest phone launches of the year and your staff are as clueless as I am as to what's going on.

If the particular model you ordered is on backorder, it will be dispatched as soon as we receive stock from the manufacturer.
You'll receive a notification from DPD as soon as your delivery slot is confirmed.
If you'd prefer to switch to a colour/storage size that is in stock for immediate dispatch, please get in touch on 150.

I placed my order on 22nd January for the 1Tb black version and have been told they don't know exactly when it'll be delivered. Keep saying 21 days but from when? Order date or the date if my phone call to them? And nothing has changed on the order status.
