Hi. When will the Fold 9 pro be delivered? I believe the release date is Wednesday coming. Will they be sent out on Wednesday or be delivered on Wednesday? I ordered a few days ago, but there is no tracking. When I type my order number in it just gives me a red box with "sorry you can't track this order type just yet".

Yeah so I won't be getting mine anytime soon either then...

That's strange as it wasn't even available to pre-order until the 14th anyway was it?

Yeah it was either the 13th or 14th for the preorder so it makes no sense. I don't think anybody at EE knows what's happening as there seems to be a wide amount of responses

It could be that Google notified EE that they had low manufacturing yield and allocated stock to themsleves, therefore letting EE know they won't get any stock day 1.

Like I said by this time last year the fold 1 was being dispatched. So I am not positive this will end the same way at this point in time.

I'm sure I read on Reddit somewhere the 9 pro fold was on backorder from the day pre orders opened, and it's been that way for a hot minute.

Google are always going to prioritise their own store so if you want it fastest I'd recommend heading that way. Right now 256gb variants in both obsidian and porcelain have sept 4th delivery dates, 512gb obsidian sept 9th and 512gb porcelain is set at October 7th-14th

I only ordered today so I assume it being porcelain and lining up with googles dates I'm probably expecting anywhere between the 7th-14th October.

If I wasn't such a cheapskate I'd cancel and reorder with Google but yeah nah, 5 weeks won't kill me

I do feel for everyone though, it's crazy that EE can't just estimate basic delivery windows for people, that's pretty bad, and if someone from EE is reading, get that sorted.

Oh someone from EE is reading they just don't care, which is why I will be going bye bye when this contract is up.

Yeah I'm holding hope. But if it doesn't turn up on release day it'll be my last contract with them. Only reason I'll wait if I have too is the price, but they shouldn't be allowed to mislead customers like this.

Maybe but if that's so they should not be advertising as from 4/9 if there is no possible way for that as a delivery date.

Yes exactly like I said previously it isn't the delay which is not in their control, but rather their lack of transparency and the fact they outright mislead you to the release date of the device both on their website and when putting and order in on the phone.

No they shouldn't but as previously stated they are basically correct. The device is being delivered from that date, but not specifically from EE themselves. So technically not wrong, but very misleading.
