Pixel Fold 9 Pro delivery dates?

Hi. When will the Fold 9 pro be delivered? I believe the release date is Wednesday coming. Will they be sent out on Wednesday or be delivered on Wednesday? I ordered a few days ago, but there is no tracking. When I type my order number in it just gives me a red box with "sorry you can't track this order type just yet".

If you ordered online and then had to call. Assuming the same day? How would you be getting the order this week? Even going from the 28th this week is not 28 days from your order. Why on earth would they tell you this? My guess to get you off the phone. EE are ridiculous but at least they have one fan here.

Just a quick update I've got from customer service today. The 28day wait is apparently from today not the day you ordered. 

I ordered 16/8 so assumed my 28day wait was today or at least soon. I asked when the 28days was from and got told it was from when they checked the inventory so today. They still have no idea when they will receive more in stock. 

I've been told I can either wait or go elsewhere.

Thanks that’s what I feared but I still don’t know how this is supposed to make any sense. They are telling people that are ordering right now that it’s going to be 28 days as well. Either they are lying to them as well or they receive a giant batch of phones in 28 days. I suppose it’s the former though..

This is starting to become really frustrating. It wouldn't be so bad if they at least communicated the delays. When I originally placed the order, the women on the phone told me it would be shipped on the 4th. If they were up front with the 28 days, then I wouldn't have wait in the house for two full days waiting for a delivery.

Oddly I have now received a 2nd trade in package. Not sure why that has been sent out again.

Tried raising a complaints yesterday about the lack of communication and got the same we will keep you updated and then they closed it.

I think from what they said the estimated delivery time is set to 28 days and there is no actual reason for it as they have no idea when delivery will actually be made.

I was told different. I was told from the order date. It's all a bunch of lies and nonsense. They have zero idea. The fact that Google are selling the porcelain for next day and we still get this 28 day nonsense is beyond me.

I mean check out EE's trust pilot score. There is a reason it's so low. Uks best network my backside.

Well Ee are useless scums aren’t they… not good to there loyal customers, wish I could cancel and go else where but my family on my account rely on my data use and they’ve recently replaced their phones… cos we get the same priority as if someone was going to order one now.. when we should have priority for ordering on pre release! They’ve misled and basically missold us!

Just got a message that „my order is coming soon“ which is the first update since my „on track“ notification. Still „awaiting confirmation“ in status though, so not quite sure whether I should genuinely expect anything.. did anyone receive similar messages?

Sadly yes. I get an email each week saying my order is coming soon and on track. No idea what they mean. 

When I ordered I assumed coming soon meant it was being delivered on 3rd. I was wrong
