Pixel Fold 9 Pro delivery dates?

Hi. When will the Fold 9 pro be delivered? I believe the release date is Wednesday coming. Will they be sent out on Wednesday or be delivered on Wednesday? I ordered a few days ago, but there is no tracking. When I type my order number in it just gives me a red box with "sorry you can't track this order type just yet".

Just called EE, not sure if the advisor was fully informed. But they said Google did not provide them with anywhere enough stock and will not be fulfilling any orders for another 28 days.....I'm desperately hoping they were very wrong.

If that is the case then I (and many others) have been severely mislead / mis-sold the product.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt until launch day when I was assured I would receive the item at the time I ordered.

EE haven't told me any different as yet, so I can only assume my order is on track.

Bit of sarcasm here, obviously.

Any chance someone from EE could clarify on here?

Yup you and me both. I think we have all been misled. I was told it would be sent out on launch day.

Hi Chris, following a call with an advisor this morning they mentioned that this applied for preorders too, and EE cannot meet their commitment to deliver on the 4th for customers that were advised that. Will customers that are affected by this be advised of their revised delivery date?

I got the same information on the phone just now. Their system said they would not get the phones in for 28 days. I was told this Wednesday. What is going on?

Still says delivery from 04/09 if you order today, so they wouldn't blatantly mislead people, right?

Well actually EE would get away with that as it says FROM and not ON. Yes it's misleading, but not untrue. That phone is released from that day onwards, so they are technically right. Really clever wording, clever but despicable.

It's a real shame that EE are this disorganised with the updating of stock levels, you could forgive them for not knowing the stock they are receiving from Google, but to not give accurate dates at this point is crazy, other carriers are able to give better timeframes

EE have clearly have negotiated a deal with Google to sell this phone at the price it is, you would think they would have the stock to back it up.

On top of this the wording pertaining to stock levels varies everywhere on the site depending on if you are a business customer, contact or SIM only. 

Business customer, 256gb - In Stock 

Sim Only - Expected 4th September 

The sad reality for me in this situation is that EE are offering by far the best deal on the device, with the signal in my area being better than the competition, so as it relates to me, they can be the most disorganised company in the world and I would still have to choose them over the competition. 

At first I thought the stock levels were just a marketing ploy to drive up demand, but at this point it really does seem that they have no stock, which is bizarre as you can still order from a lot of retailers in the UK and get it on release day.

Basically the earliest pre-orders will ship from September the 4th then the rest will follow, some will be October and I'd imagine some may even be November! We will only know once we receive an email telling us our order has been dispatched I guess

Yes we understand this, but the issue was the lack of transparency from EE and EE misleading customers stating they would get the phone on the 4th. Which for me is a big reason to jump ship when my contract is up.
