Pixel 8a ear buds

I ordered a pixel 8a on 10/11/24 with the website saying i can claim some ear buds 2 weeks after purchase..  this is still shown on the ee site as per attached screenshot.. yet aparently the claim form has closed.. 

Why are you advertising something and selling a product on false advertising? Or am i missing something?

The Pixel 8a promotion is still running, it is for purchase dates between 5th of November and 5th of December. You may have got confused by other users posting about the separate promotion on the Pixel 9 Pro XL which has expired.

You can submit your claim here: https://reward-promos.com/reward/budsautumn/en-GB 

You have up until the 18th January 2025, but I would do this as soon as possible.

I'd ordered the 256Gb Pixel 8a last week and was told there was a 21 day wait.

I've only received an "order confirmation" and EE has taken payment.

Do I need to wait until the phone arrives to claim? Would an "order confirmation" qualify as they ask for a "proof of purchase" or "invoice"?

Hi @SarahJ342 It's great news that you've gone for the Google Pixel 8a so that you an take advantage of the Samsung Buds offer.

The order confirmation couldn't be used as proof as purchase, as you'd need to wait 14 days from you receive the phone to submit your claim before 18 January 2025, this is as you have 14 days from the receipt your device to return it if you purchased it on line or over the phone.

Many thanks for the info. That's going to be very tight then!

I'd ordered the phone 256Gb Pixel 8a on Friday 22nd Nov and said the lead time should be 21 days which takes it up to Friday 13th December!

Hope it gets to me ok and is classed as a purchase before 5th December.

Hey Chris,

Had an update today that my new phone is on its way with DPD 😊

I can now relax that it only took just after a week after being out of stock to despatch.

Excellent customer service from EE 👍
