Hi all have the pixel 8 pro on pre order it's due to be released tomorrow but on my tracking it still says awaiting delivery date confirmation. Has anyone elses tracker updated or will it just be delivered tomorrow?

I had similar issues. My phone was delivered at 1.30 this afternoon. I refreshed my DPD app at 4.30 to see if it did anything and magically, my parcel had been added. Seems like EE/DPD had such an amount of them to do, they just didn't bother sending the tracking data out. Glad I've got it but the Comms from both sides has been awful.

Finally got an update re getting ours directly from the shop.
They didn't receive the delivery today which our phones would have been with. They're now saying they'll call regardless tomorrow lunchtime. Bear in mind they told us we would be getting a call today from a member of staff and we've had to call them three times to see what's going on!
The lack of communication is absolutely shocking. Hopefully, we can actually get our phones tomorrow 🤞🏻

Did any of the people who received their delivery today need to provide a pin number to the delivery driver?
Just got off the phone with EE as my Pixel hasn't arrived today and she mentioned needing a PIN that I have not received. She told me to download the DPD app which would apparently provide me with a PIN but it hasn't.

I would have thought EE would have sipped on launch day however mine has still not arrived yet. Put the tracking number 😔 n for an update but nothing. Very poor indeed EE

hi there, I have received my pixel 8 pro today as well but unfortunately the sim is not provisioned. I called EE CS but they were unable to provision the sim as they said they couldn't verify my account. suggested me to go EE retail shop. was your SIM provisioned?

My SIM also wasn't provisioned, I phoned up EE and they put in a form to activate my SIM and it ended up activated roughly 5 hours later. How come you couldn't verify your account? Seems like your only other option is to go in store.

yeah, same story... just received a message about PIN but haven't received any PIN at all. Pinged DPD they say I should have receive it yesterday. The thin is there was no communication from DPD yesterday even when they tried to deliver yesterday morning... I don't know who's here to blame but it totally messed up.

Mine is with DPD for delivery since yesterday... But their CS advised that driver can resend the PIN from his device while at the location.

Despite receiving both my phones yesterday, today I finally got an email from EE to inform me:
"Your order is confirmed but we’re awaiting your expected delivery date. This is while we wait for delivery confirmation from the manufacturer. We’ll be in touch soon with an update on your order."
Tracking information now says it was dispatched today. Who knows if I'll get another phone tomorrow??
They really don't know what they are doing
